Please take some time to read through our most FAQ’s regarding Speedview.

When will I be able to purchase Speedview?

Speedview will be available from finer dealers worldwide or direct via our on-line shop..

Be the first to own and race Speedview @ > Speedview >>>

What’s included in the Speedview box?

Speedview comes as a complete system ready to race, inside every box you will find: the complete headset system fitted to a Redraven premium Warrior goggle; also included is the SV Receiver and  SVRX01 6V battery, receiver pouch, Speedbutton and transmitter with a speedbutton, 2 x Speedrolls and a spindle..

You will need to purchase separately 2 x AAA batteries for the transmitter unit and spare Speedrolls.

Does Speedview come with an instruction manual?

Yes, a quick start installation and setup guide. Further instructions and setup help can be found on the website  >

Does Speedview come with a product warranty?

Yes Speedview products are warranted for 6 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials and/or workmanship. This warranty does not cover wear and tear on the motor drive unit or any other component or product.  Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an authorized Redraven dealer. Redraven’s warranty program does not cover scratched lenses but replacement lenses can be purchased through your local authorized Redraven dealer or via our online store Speedview >>> .

Alteration to Speedview products and/or the use of non-branded Speedview specific batteries in the receiver unit or any other components excluding the transmitter unit will void all warranty.

Will pressing the Speedbutton activate other Speedview Systems?

No. Speedview has been specifically designed to transmit and receive a digitally encoded signal. (Similar to your cars remote lock/unlock key only more advanced). Once you have synchronised your transmitter and receiver units together they will only work and communicate with each other.

You can sync up to two different Speedview systems to a single transmitter, allowing you to have a practice system and a race only system.

How much does Speedview weight?

The Speedview headset alone weights approximately 196 grams excluding the battery pack at the back of the helmet which weights 109 grams, A standard roll-off goggle weights 171 grams – Speedview’s extra headset weight of 25 grams is due to the motor drive unit and the secured viewing area offered by the track and cover.

Speedview’s weight is well balanced on your head and face as the battery pack is located at the back of the helmet. Speedview’s transmitter weights approximately 100 grams but this weight isnt felt as the transmitter is mounted onto your bike.

All of our test riders and racers were questioned after the used the system in different whether conditions as to weather or not they thought Speedview was heavy or felt any difference while riding, each and everyone replied with the same answer – “i didn’t notice it at all”. Due to Speedview’s larger viewing area less mud is able to stick and weight down the system unlike a standard roll-off goggle.

You don’t need to take our word for it, feel free to try it on with your helmet the next time your at an off-road dealers.

What if the Speedbutton on the handle bar breaks during a crash?

The Speedbutton is very strong and robust but in the event of a crash were the Speedbutton is damaged Speedview has a backup switch on the receiver unit at the back of your helmet, simply tap the back of the receiver once it will activate Speedview.

It is recommended you should always activate the system to ensure you have your Speedview system synchronised correctly before starting a race. If in the event of a wireless failure check your batteries, make sure the leads from the receiver units are connected to the SV drive system, and make sure you have correctly synced both transmitter and receiver units together.

What if I damage Speedview or one of its parts, can I replace the broken part?

Yes. All Speedview parts are replaceable and easily fitted. Contact your local authorized Redraven dealer for available parts of you can purchase them direct via our online store  Speedview >>>, all parts ordered within the UK &EU receive FREE postage.

How often should I replace my batteries?l

Speedview’s headset receiver has a low battery LED indicator which flashes RED when your receiver battery needs replacing. Depending on usage and temperatures the receiver SVRB01 battery can last up to 6 months sometimes more.

The transmitter batteries (2 x AAA) can last up to 12 months depending on usage and temperatures. Redraven recommends replacing your batteries every six months, this helps maintain optimal vision clearing performance at the touch of a button and also provides reassurance while racing.

Speedview’s headset receiver requires 1 x SVRB01 6V battery – the transmitter requires 2 X AAA premium batteries – remember you pay for what you get when batteries – only buy good quality trusted branded AAA batteries.

Batteries can be purchased via your local authorized Redraven dealer direct or via our direct online store Speedview >>>, all parts ordered within the UK &EU receive FREE postage.

Yes. Redraven has designed Speedview and the Warrior goggle to fit a broad range of adult and junior faces from the ages of 8 and up by using ultra-premium 3 layer foam. The foam provides a snug and secure fit over the face.

No. Speedview and the Warrior goggle have been designed from the bottom up to fit perfectly together allowing for the ultimate performance product. Speedview is not compatible with any other product

Will Speedview fit my current helmet?

Yes. Speedview fits up to 90% of all open face helmets. Redraven recommends trying on Speedview first with your helmet just to make sure.

Is Speedview easy to clean?

Yes. Speedview has been designed to be totally user friendly and can be easily disassembled and cleaned. We recommend using an old toothbrush to clean in and around the tighter areas. The goggles out riggers can be removed and the strap cleaned separately.

Make sure Speedview is completely clean and dry before re-assembling and using again. We also recommend spraying a very small amount of  lube in towards the moving gear slot in the motor drive unit where the spindle attaches.

Can I own more than one Speedview system?

Yes. Speedview has been designed to allow  up to 2 different headset (receiver) systems to work with any one transmitter .

If for example you own two Speedview systems, you can sync both headsets up to one bike, allowing you to have a practice system and a race ready system.

Once both systems are synced you dont have to re-sync again just fire on your other Speedview system and your ready to race.
